Feeding:

At the University's Student Restaurant, undergraduate and postgraduate students of the University are provided with meals according to the conditions set by the University Senate. The Student Restaurant is located in the center of the city of Arta with complete and modern equipment. The Restaurant operates a total of 275 days a year, from September 1st to June 30th, every day of the week, with a break of 14 days for Christmas and Easter respectively. The daily menu includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Housing:

For students of the University of Ioannina, there is the option of accommodation at the Student Dormitory, which has a capacity of 150 beds. The rooms are double occupancy with a bathroom, and there are communal kitchens and laundry facilities on each floor. The Student Dormitory is located in the city of Arta, at the Arachthos Bridge. Medical care:

It is regulated by the number A3(g)/GP/οικ.25132/04-04-2016 (908,Β΄) KYA Regarding 'Regulations for Ensuring Access to Healthcare for the Uninsured in the Public Health System.' Any clarifications are provided by the Student Welfare Department (Arta).

Student scholarships:

The Department, the University, and other entities announce Student Scholarships, the number and terms of which are regularly updated. Students can stay informed through the announcements page and/or the department's secretariat regarding active and upcoming scholarship announcements.

Academic Identity:

All undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students of the country's Universities are eligible to apply for an academic identity. The academic identity also serves as a Special Ticket Pass. (ID https://www.uoi.gr/panepistimiaki-zoi/foititiki-merimna/).The electronic application is submitted through the website http://academicid.minedu.gov.grTo proceed with the electronic application for the issuance of an academic identity by a first-cycle student, access codes are required (username - password) These access codes are provided to enrolled students by their respective Department and are used for the electronic services of the Institution to which they belong. Those who enrolled in the Department as graduates of other Universities are entitled to an Academic Identity; however, it does not carry the validity of the Special Ticket Pass, granting them the discounts provided by current legislation.

The Career Services Office (http://dasta.uoi.gr/) The Career Services Office is a central service of the University of Ioannina aimed at supporting students and graduates of the University in matters of educational development, career planning, professional rehabilitation, as well as networking with the job market, through the development of partnerships with Companies, Organizations, Institutes, etc., to promote the professional integration of the students/graduates of the Institution. More specifically, the Career Services Office provides the following services:

Career Counseling Service:

The Career Counseling Service of the Career Office supports the students and graduates of the University of Ioannina in the following areas: • Facilitating the acquisition of a comprehensive self-image and awareness of their capabilities. • Assisting in the planning of their educational and professional paths. • Providing assistance and guidance in searching for educational and professional information. • Facilitating their integration into the job market through training in modern job search techniques (CV writing, presentation skills, etc.)

The main goal of the Career Services Office is to inform the students and graduates of the University of Ioannina about job opportunities in Greece and abroad, as well as to develop productive partnerships with companies and organizations in Greece for better information, integration, and absorption of the University's graduates into the job market.

The University of Ioannina has the largest beneficial surface area (14.500 c.m. distributed across six floors) Unified Library and Information Center of Greece (Β.Κ.Π.-Π.Ι.).The operation of the Library is governed by Regulations of Operation, to which each user is required to adhere. Η Β.Κ.Π.-Π.Ι.It has a collection consisting of 400,000 books and 1,000 current subscriptions to print scientific journals, a collection of books related to the courses offered by all Departments of the University, newspapers, encyclopedias, dictionaries, indexes, etc. Particularly significant is its electronic collection, which includes approximately 14,000 full-text electronic scientific journals. University of Ioannina Counseling Center:

It offers confidential support services to students facing various personal issues. In some cases, always with the student's consent, the counselors at the Counseling Center work closely with personnel from other related services, such as the Office of Study and Career Counseling, to address these issues.

University Printing Office:

It covers the needs of students for the publication of textbooks, university notes, prints the University of Ioannina's magazine "Iris," as well as a variety of other printed materials.

University Bookstore:

The University Bookstore offers a rich collection of scientific books and textbooks authored by the university's teaching staff. The Computing Center and Network Management Center: The Computing Center provides comprehensive computer facilities available to all university students. Computer workstations can be used individually or by groups, with the specialized assistance of the Center's staff always available. The facilities include personal computer networks and UNIX workstations with a wide range of software, access to large computer systems with specialized software packages, and a variety of printing and design machines. Access to computer services is easy through the installed network in the University campus from the dormitories and other areas, or via phone outside the campus. The system supports connections to other national or international networks, while students are provided with personal email addresses and unlimited internet access..

Sports and Recreation:

At the Kostakioi campus, there are outdoor sports facilities (basketball, volleyball, tennis), a cafeteria, and areas for meetings and recreation. Additionally, the new indoor gymnasium of the Municipality of Arta operates nearby. Frequently, entertainment events are organized on the campus by the Department of Music Studies.
