Our History

UNIVERSITY OF IOANNINADEPARTMENT OF INFORMATICS AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS The Department of Informatics and Telecommunications was founded in 2018 as part of the School of the University of Ioannina.
Its main mission is to cultivate Computer Science, Networking of Computer Systems and Telecommunications, and their various applications.
The Department has a Postgraduate and PhD degree. -
TEI of EpirusDEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION ENGINEENIRING T.E.
The Department of Informatics Engineering T.E. belonged to the School of Technological Applications of the Technological Educational Institute of Epirus. In three directions: Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering.
From the 2015-2016 Academic Year the Department offers a Poastgraduate Diploma in Computer and Network Engineering. -
TEI of EpirusDEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS
The Department of Information Techonology and Telecommunications was established in 2006.
The main objective of the Department is to provide a high level of knowledge in the fields of information technology and telecommunications.
During 2004-2008 the Department participated in a Postgraduate Program in Telecommunication Applications. -
TEI of EpirusDEPARTMENT OF COMMUNICATIONS, INFORMATICS AND MANAGMEMENT
The Department of Telecommunications and Administration was established in 1998 and began its operation in the 1998-1999 academic year.
The first graduates of the Department graduated in 2002. Its core mission was the development of Information Systems in combination with the learning of Managent.
